Our film “Beyond Tradition” produced by Shin Aoki won Best Documentary Short 2019 at Florida Surf Film Festival. What an amazing experience!
This documentary film talks about the urushi Alaia Project, the project of a symbolic surfboard production with natural material with appreciation and respect to nature and surfing. Surfing enthusiasts from Japan, Australia and America have worked together with a wish and a passion to pass our beautiful planet, sustainable environment and responsible society on to the next generation.
