It can be used as glue by mixing with water. It is also used as a nori-urushi for nunokise and kanbari (Applying linen or paper) by mixing with urushi.
How to make nori-urushi Add some water to the komeko. Adjust the amount of water and stickiness depending on your purpose. After mixing, put them in a pan, heat them over low heat, and frequently stir to prevent burning. Mix the glue and urushi at a ratio of 6:4, and you can get nori-urushi.
