The popular Asakichi Whetstone stick-type polishing tool is now available in the long-awaited 2 mm width.
This new size fits more easily into small, detailed areas that previously required reshaping the tip of the existing 4 mm-wide model. Two dedicated holders, sold separately, are also available for improved handling and greater versatility.
The mechanical-pencil-style holder is ideal for precise, pinpoint polishing. The flat-type holder is suitable when you want to use the narrow flat surface of the stone or hold it at a lower angle.
Combined with the simultaneously released Asakichi Whetstone HARI series, the 2 mm stone makes polishing previously difficult details easier, cleaner and less stressful.
This convenient tool is suitable for a wide range of applications, including kintsugi, maki-e and raden.
