In contrast to maki-e-you-aka-roiro (蒔絵用赤呂色, a type of Urushi used to create a red mirror-like finish in maki-e art) this Urushi has a more yellowish quality.
Includes Japan-made Urushi. Easily applied with a brush and extraordinarily fluid, making it well suited to painting fine lines and details such as filling in shapes.
It can also be mixed with pigments to create colored Urushi. Dries slowly.
