蒔絵用 上艶朱合(Maki-e Urushi Jou TsuyaSyuai)

In contrast to maki-e-you-aka-roiro (蒔絵用赤呂色, a type of Urushi used to create a red mirror-like finish in maki-e art) and sukekuchi-roiro (透口赤呂色, a type of Urushi with more transparent qualities than the maki-e-you-aka-roiro), this Urushi was made with an emphasis on its clearness.

Includes Japan-made Urushi. Easily applied with a brush and extraordinarily fluid, making it well suited to painting fine lines and details such as filling in shapes.

It can also be mixed with pigments to create colored Urushi.
