Urushi used to paint the maki-e images over which gold powder is applied.

Mixed with Bengara( iron oxide), so the gold will stand out even better and more beautifully.

Includes Japan-made Urushi. Easily applied with a brush and extraordinarily fluid, making it well suited to painting fine lines and details such as filling in shapes.
