Well-suited for suriurushi (摺り漆, a type of Urushi sealant) and Hukiurushi (拭き漆, a technique for showing off wood grain to its fullest by applying clear lacquer to the wood surface and then wiping it away). It is a soft lacquer that goes on smooth and is excecptionally workable.
