光琳 蒔絵用上黒呂色(Kourin Jou KuroRoiro Maki-e Urushi)

If used for fun-gatame (粉固め, sealing of powdered precious metals in maki-e and kintsugi), it will adhere even more strongly than uwazuri (such as isehaya or kijoumi, other varieties of Urushi) and will be even more effective.

If added to maki-e-you-kuro-roiro (蒔絵用赤呂色, a type of Urushi used to create a black mirror-like finish in maki-e art), the Urushi will change its texture, becoming harder. It is greatly valued for this ability.

It is 80% glossy.
