Komeko is a finely ground rice powder.
It can be used as a glue by mixing with water. it is also used as a nori-urushi for nunokise and kanbari (Applying linen or paper) mixing with urushi. How to make nori-urushi Add some water to komeko. Adjust the smount of water and stickness depending on your purpose. After mixing, put them in a pan and heat it over low heat and stir frequently to prevent burning. Mix the glue and urushi at a ratio of 6:4 and you can get nori-urushi.
